Atelier Transforming Objects & Architecture (ATOA) is an Architecture and Design studio founded in 2019, operating between Lucca and Sao Paulo. We focus on design and craftsmanship, bringing ideas to solid forms. Our passion lies in expressing simplicity amidst the complexity of personal desires.
At ATOA, we believe that the journey 'from ideas to objects to buildings' is not always a straight line of thoughts, and it shouldn't be. We are intrigued by the intersection of thoughts, variation of scale, and the art of making things.
We are dedicated to understanding the individual dreams and goals of our clients. Apart from the architecture and design studio ATOA Lucca, is a space were creative minds can share ideas and fabricate them, we offers services as a co-working, rooms for exhibitions and shows. Always welcoming for any kind of art expression and discussion that can enrich the surroundings. We are better when we share, join, and acknowledge each other.

Local History
​
Via della Zecca 51, has its history connect to the art scene of Lucca city center. Founded in 1948 the stone print-shop from Giulio Angeli, the Litografia Angeli served many years doing a variety of stone print works. But when his son, Giuliano Angeli, took over the print, in the 60ths he start to work with Lucca's most famous artist reaching a impressive print technique he was soon search for many of Lucca's Uberto Bonetti a Robert Carroll, da Primo Conti a Gianni Dova, da Omar Galliani a Mino Maccari, da Sebastian Matta a Ennio Morlotti, da Antonio Possenti a Riccardo Tommasi Ferroni, da Ernesto Treccani a Renzo Vespignani. and continue his work into late 2015.
After many years closed in the city center we repurpose the space to the public with its historic characteristic of a incubator of ideas and representative of art.
Paolo Michele Salvetti

Ivano Dini

Alessandro Tonini

Architect from the University of Florence. With a vast experience in the field of architecture, with multiple build projects. He its a collaborator in the Italian studio, adding experience knowledge and his visions to ATOA Architecture

Co-Founder of Wedding Tailors is a great photographer of products portraits and weddings (his work can be seen in the Weeding Tailors website and in his professional portfolio site) . He is a frequent collaborator and a great asset to the studio.
Giuliano Angeli

Principal of the Lithographic Angelli is one of the most important name is printing artist in Lucca. Worked with great names during all his career in the city center. Giulino is a honorable member of ATOA a frequent visitor and a eventual lecture. Having past most of his career in this place Giuliano is the living soul forever breathing in Via Della Zecca 51
